WEEK 10 free response

My last post I talked about how I was going to began reading the book "Blackwood Farm" by Anne Rice. In the last post I discribed what I had investigated from reading the back cover and what other people had told me about the book. I began reading the book with joy to find out who my exact main characters would be. So far in to the book my main characters are Quinn, Goblin and Lestat. Quinn starts the story off with a letter he writes to Lestat in help to get rid of his best companion Goblin. Goblin is threating his friend Quinn by hurting him after he has his dinner. By the word "dinner" I mean vampire dinner. Not only is Goblin a threat to Quinn his friend, Goblin is also a threat to the vampire race for his thirst for blood. Somthing has to be done to Goblin or he could wipe out the whole vampire race as Quinn knows it. Quinn wrote the letter but is not sure that Lestat will come to help him or will kill him and Goblin both for the sake of the vampire race. I feel this letter that Quinn wrote to Lestat is going to be a big part of the book to what going to happen to Quinn and Goblin. I am still reading to find out when my favorite character Lestat is going to show up in the book. When Lestat shows up to Quinn's house I am sure the book is going to get more intense then it already is, because Lestat is one of the oldest vampires around and most knowledgeable. I would recomend this book to anyone who enjoys Ann Rice novels or vampire novels. Overall from what I have read I like the book and the vocabulary that I have learn so far from reading.
